BIOMEC receives the UPC Award for Social Commitment in the field of Inclusion

The BIOMEC research group has received the UPC Award for Social Commitment 2021 in the field of Inclusion. This recognition has been awarded to the project "Technology for the improvement of inclusion and quality of life of people with neuromuscular diseases". BIOMEC receives one of the five OpenSim Outstanding Researcher Award 2017

Josep Maria Font received in October 2017 one of the five “Outstanding Researcher Award”, given by the National Center for Simulation in Rehabilitation (NCSRR), for the project “Personalized robotic exoskeleton controller design for assisted walking”, in collaboration with Dr. B.J. Lagrange Award for the best PhD Thesis on Multibody Dynamics

The Springer outstanding PhD thesis prize, also denominated as Lagrange Award for the best PhD research on Multibody Dynamics has been established in 2017 by Springer and the IFToMM Technical Committee for Multibody Dynamics with the aim of recognizing the outstanding achievements of a young researcher (under 35 years old) at the early stage of their scientific career. Alfons Carnicero and Míriam Febrer awarded at “Diada de l’Enginyer” 2017
