Abstract

ADALT is a project for tele-monitoring Activities of Daily Living (ADL) for people who suffer physical disabilities caused by a neurological disorder and are under outpatient rehabilitation. In this condition, it is usual that two patients with the same disorder have different evolution. It is believed that an important variable responsible for this is the level of activity performed with the paretic limb by each subject during their daily life. Within ADALT, the BIOMEC lab is in charge of developing a low-cost and portable solution for the inverse dynamic analysis of gait based on motion capture and pressure insoles.
